RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE

Job Brief:

To assume a position within our retail stores to serve our pool and spa customers.   Willwork directly with our customers to help them take care of all their pool care needs. MEMPHIS POOL has retail stores at the following locations:

  • 2762 Getwell Rd- Just South of I-240 - Memphis
  • 7605 Poplar Ave @ Germantown Rd. - Germantown
  • 93 W Poplar Ave - Across from Home Depot - Collierville

MEMPHIS POOL's retail stores focus on providing supplies and chemicals for swimming pool and spa owners. These products include chemicals, maintenance supplies, pool equipment, pool games, rafts, toys and replacement parts. Eachstore is a one-stop service center offering everything the pool or spa owner would need to use, maintain and enjoy their pool and spa including a professional water analysis lab.

Challenges:

As one might expect, the swimming pool business has strong seasonal surges. There is a great deal of daily stock work and cleaning during the peak swim season months (March – October) to make sure we have a clean and inviting environment that is well stocked to meet our customer’s needs. It is a fastpaced environment that requires standing and lifting of chemicals and supplies.

The Working Environment and Hours:

In keeping with our "swimming is fun philosophy, we operate a casual, yet professional environment. Daily retail store hours are Monday-Saturday (basically 8-6 and 9-7 during swim season depending on your store location). Saturdays are our busiest days, requiring full staffing. We are closed on Sundays.

Compensation:

This position is paid on an hourly basis and offers a competitive hourly rate.
