Pool Closing & Winterizing
  • Remove & store pool cover, tubes, winterizing equipment
  • Re-install pool accessories, such as ladders, & handrails
  • Light heater pilot & reconnect chlorinator, timer, cleaner
  • Check & adjust water chemistry (chemicals extra)

Join our Poly Cover Renewal Program! We'll automatically return or replace your poly-vinyl cover when we return to close your pool the following winter, so you don't have to.

Our Opening Crews are equipped with parts and tools to provide some replacements and repairs. The Opening Crew will advise the customer should repairs be necessary that would require a separate service call by one of our mechanical repair trucks and technician.

Note: Additional time and charges may be required for the removal of excessive water and debris from the top of the cover and/or if the water level is not adequate. If the pool requires major cleaning or the water is not clear at time of opening, follow up service calls will be necessary, incurring additional charges. Otherwise, the customer must assume the necessary follow up to accomplish proper cleaning of the pool and clearing of the water. Our staff will be pleased to advise in such situations.

Additional Opening Services

When you request these services at the time of opening, you will save money, add features you need and want, and make you pool completely ready for summer.

  • Salt System Installation
  • Energy Efficient Equipment Installation
  • Frog Mineral Cartridges & Endure Level Refills
  • Cartridge & DE Filter Cleanings
  • Filter Sand Change - Get the sand FREE!
  • Replace In-line Chlorinator With AN Off-Line - Why? In-line Chlorinators create fumes that back up into your pump, filter and hearter, corroding key internal parts.
  • Replumb Equipment Pad - For fixing leaky pipes and difficult valves.

Closing & Winterizing

Services We Perform Upon Closing:

  • Apply pool cover, tubes, winterizing equipment
  • Remove pool accessories, such as ladders, handrails, diving boards
  • Winterize equipment, such as chlorinator, pump, and filter
  • Check & adjust water chemistry (chemicals extra)
  • Clean salt cell

Note: In order to properly close your pool, the water's pH level must be within 7.0-7.8 and the pool must be clean prior to the technicians arriving. A "clean up" (debris removal) cannot be provided the day of the scheduled closing.
