Remodeling Services

A typical gunite pool will need to be replastered every 10-12 years. We can replaster using standard marcite plaster, or you can upgrade to Pebble Tec® or Hydrazzo® for a more natural look. In addition, these finishes last longer than plaster.

Interior Finishes

Gunite is a form of concrete and because concrete is porous, we must place a water-tight interior finish on top of the gunite. There are several different types of interior finishes that may be applied. Three of the most common are: marcite (plaster), Hydrazzo®, and Pebble Tec®.

White Plaster (Marcite)

White plaster is our standard interior finish on gunite pools. It is composed of white cement and marble dust, giving your water a gorgeous clear blue color.

Gray Plaster (Marcite)

Gray plaster is composed of a medium-gray pigment and tends to have a beautiful old-world look.

Hydrazzo®

Hydrazzo has a silky smooth texture, which is accomplished by using coarse graded crystalline and colored marble with white Portland cement. The surface is then hand-polished and smoothed to bring out the marble's natural beauty.

Pebble Tec®

This natural, non-slip pool surface is made with small pebbles from around the world. These pebbles are mixed with a formula of additives that bind to the gunite to form a unique natural pool surface designed to hold its beauty over time.

Tile replacement and repair

The most common problem with tile is that it cracks or simply pops off. Together, we can explore your repair and replacement options.

Ceramic tile is used as an accent around the pool, but it also serves a purpose. Marcite cannot be exposed to the air; therefore, it requires a transistional material to be placed along the waterline. We offer several different colors, sizes, and designs of tile to complement your pool design and landscape.

Coping/Decking Exterior Finish Repair

Coping/Decking Exterior Brochure

The most common problem with coping and decking includes cracking. We can help you with this and explain your coping and decking repair and replacement options.

Coping is the attractive border that separates the pool and the pool deck. From traditional brick to breath-taking travertine, the coping accentuates the graceful curves of the pool. Decking defines your pool area. It also provides you with hassle-free tanning and a tranquil setting to relax.
