Meet Our Experienced Team

Bubba SmithRobert Smith, Service Manager - Over 26 years of dedicated service
Robert Smith (you may know him as Bubba) has worked with MEMPHIS POOL since 1984. As a Certified Service Professional by the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, Robert has received extensive training in pool care, service and repair. You also might be lucky (or unlucky) enough to see him in a dive suit, as he is our resident Leak Detection Expert.

Robert was the first recipient of our Pool Baron award. Pool Baron is MEMPHIS POOL'S official MVP award, voted on yearly by our own employees. The Pool Baron award is now in its 11th year and has been presented to other long-term deserving employees.

Robert has also had a product named after him - The Bubba- a multi-valve repair tool. However, it bears little resemblance to the man.

Brooks HolcombBrooks Holcomb, Service Manager - Over 26 years of dedicated service
Brooks Holcomb has been with MEMPHIS POOL since 1984. As a Certified Service Professional by the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals, his main job function is as technical advisor and all-around troubleshooter to pool and spa owners and operators. He also provides a mighty good pool instruct for new pool owners, performs automatic control set-ups, offers complete energy audits, and installs commercial pool equipment.

In a nutshell, Brooks is our resident pool equipment expert for all major brands and electronic troubleshooting. Brooks is also our 5th Pool Baron award recipient - our official MVP award.

Brooks enjoys working with MEMPHIS POOL because, according to him, he works with "good people, and there is something different to do and learn every day."

Linda BrockLinda Brock, Service Coordinator- Over 24 years of dedicated service

Linda is our Service Coordinator. She has worked with MEMPHIS POOL since 1986. She most enjoys that we are a "close, honest, family-owned company."

Since Linda answers our service phones and schedules service calls, she may very well be the voice you hear on the other end of the phone when you call. However, if she doesn't answer the phone, it's because she's most likely being "Mom" to the Service Technicians.

Linda was presented with an Achievement Award after having completed ten years of service to MEMPHIS POOL. She also received our Rock of Gibraltar award for being someone we can always count on.

Jerry PiperJerry Piper, Service Technician - Over 27 years of pool service
Jerry Piper has been with us since 2005. He arrived here with his family from California, where he was already an experienced and dedicated Service Technician for a reputable pool company.

His main job function at MEMPHIS POOL is repairing pools and spas, so if you have a problem, you might just see him at your door. Jerry also enjoys instructing and training both employees and customers on technical issues. He is well-qualified, having attended many instructinal seminars on water chemistry, hydraulics, electrical work, plumbing, equipment, and more.

Jerry says he likes "working for MEMPHIS POOL because they work very hard to be the best."
